No pictures today

Hello all.  There are no pictures in this post, even though I have some pictures ready to go.  My son is installing a new computer for me.  Since he lives over an hour away now, he cannot just pop in after work like he has done when they lived just down the street.  Bummer!  Anyway, I have email and I can connect to the Internet (in a fashion), but I have no connection yet to downloading pictures.  I also have no sound, except the clicking of the keys.  Also a new keyboard to adjust to using, and a new Microsoft 10 thing.  I REALLY like the programsin my old computer, and also my old (but not too old) monitor.  I do not have my card games (Hearts) that I had.  I also do not have a word processing program installed yet and cannot find my old files even though my son said they are here.

I have the idea that if it is not broken, why fix it?  Well, pooh!  I am a creature of habit and I REALLY liked my old computer.  OK, I know life will go on and eventually I will understand how to use this new system once everything is installed.  But for now, I will have no pictures.  I have finished some neat quilts but I cannot post pix of them since I cannot download pix right now.  I hope I do not forget about them by the time I am up and properly working with this new system.

This post is to let you all know that I am still here and reading your blogs, when I can find them!  I am disappointed that I cannot download my pictures, i.e. no posts with pix.  So sorry!  Please hang in there with me until I can get it all together, AGAIN!
