This picture is of a quilt I saw at a quilt show recently. I must apologize to the maker as I did not record her/his name. If anyone knows who made this quilt, please let me know and I will edit this post.
There must have been a class for this quilt as there were a few quilts in the show from the same design, but with different fabrics. I think these quilts were all with Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Each one was outstanding. The color choices of these quilts were wonderful. I do not know the pattern name. I went through the Kaffe Fassett books I have but did not find this pattern. I thought it might be the Zig Zag pattern, but I am not positive.
The way the quilter used the fabrics is awesome. The way the fabrics are used in the different zig zag rows it so delightful. This quilt is saturated with color. I really like it. I would like to take this class since I think it would help me learn to use these vibrant fabrics. I have some Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Now I need to bring them out and determine if I could make a quilt like this.

Pam, it is beautiful! I also have a K. Fassett collection for a someday quilt. I don't know this pattern, but it looks like squares set on point? maybe. I'll send you a photo of a K. Fassett quilt I want to make. I have all the fabrics collected now---TTYL. Love this quilt too!
That quilt is Cayenne from Kaffe's book Quilts in Morocco. It is on my list of quilts to make and I already have the fabrics in a pile.
Thanks to Wanda for the pattern info! It's a beautiful quilt - I love those saturated Kaffe colors. That would be a fun class to take, wouldn't it?
By the way, I found this book at my local library (and put a hold on it). I found through some internet searches that the book has an error in the pattern. Some of the pieces need to be cut at 5 inches, but the book calls for 4 3/4 inches. So beware if you try to make the quilt from the pattern in the book!
