Split Leaves

This is another of the quilts I exhibited in the quilt show.  It was a block exchange with friends years ago.  We all cut our leaf blocks in half and exchanged one half of each leaf block we made.  I enjoyed this exchange so much.  As we were walking around the table picking up our  half blocks, it was fun to see which one I would receive.  It took me a while to sew the half blocks together, then it took a while for me to have the top quilted, and it took even more time for me to finally bind the top.  With our upcoming quilt show, I was motivated to sew the binding, the sleeve, and the label on so that I could exhibit this quilt in the show.

Dragonfly Pond

This quilt is one of the four quilts I exhibited in our guild's recent quilt show.  It was a kit I bought from Quilter's Quarters shop that has recently closed.  I really liked that shop.  I do not remember who is the designer.  It might have been one of the shop employees.  This quilt was fast and fun to sew together.

Our grandchildren were here today.  My son helped me find my pictures, again.  I thought I had it covered, but then something happened (probably my brain) and I could not find the pictures I downloaded from my camera.

Since Blogger will only allow me one picture per post, I will post three more times to show you all four of my quilts.  I have been finishing quilts like crazy lately.  I have donated some already.  Unfortunately I did not get pictures of them before they were gone.  I took pictures of these quilts at the quilt show.  They were hanging and that made it easy to get a full size picture without fingers at the top and toes at the bottom!
